Slovak subregion
was chosen for its diversity of landscape, soils and microclimate. Wines from this area are sought after for their distinctive aroma, the uniqueness of the terroir and the unmistakable character of fresh acidity. This is mainly the terroir under the Ždánické forest, the southern side of the Chřibů, the Kyjovské uplands, the Dolonomoravské valley and the foothills of the White Carpathians.
Velkopavlovicko subregion
is the heart of red wine production in Moravia and therefore cannot be missing from a wine shop in vino. There are soils on loess, calcareous clays, silts, sandstones and conglomerates. At home, there are mainly blue varieties, which are planted mainly on soils with a high magnesium content. There are excellent conditions for obtaining high-quality wines, especially from Burgundian varieties.
Mikulov subregion
is represented in the wine shop in vino because this sub-region is one of the centers of viticulture in the Czech Republic. At the same time, the city of Mikulov forms its natural center. However, excellent wine-growing locations are found not only in the immediate vicinity of the city, but also in other surrounding towns and villages. On the calcareous soils around Pálava, an excellent Riesling Vlasský matures with an unmistakable character of special minerality. The locally grown Pálava, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varieties are also of excellent quality, which you can also taste in our wine shop in vino.
Znojmo subregion
was selected for the wine shop in vino for its beautiful white unmistakable aromatic wines, especially for the Grüner Veltliner variety. On loess, stony and gravelly soils, in addition to Grüner Veltliner, the Müller Thurgau, Sauvignon, Riesling and Pálava varieties thrive here. From this sub-region we can also offer you wines from our oldest and best-known Šobes vineyard.
